2020 – A business launched in lockdown when Wales came to a standstill and only the street food vans remained open!

BVL has been created to work alongside and support local independent businesses.

We pride ourselves on providing a reliable service with minimal disruption to your business – all at a competitive price.

The company started out providing burger vans with annual gas certificates and now we are working for some of the most recognised corporate business names within South Wales.

Over the last few years, the business has developed quickly, and the number of our clients has increased, but most importantly we have made a commitment to maintaining our high standards throughout our growth.

Barrie has over 20 years’ experience within the catering repair and maintenance industry, as a qualified electrician & gas engineer, he also holds the recognised qualifications to work on NAT Gas, LPG & Mobile Catering. With a vast knowledge of a variety of equipment, no 2 days are ever the same… from cooking ranges, glass washers, potato peelers, fryers, and not forgetting those all-important combi ovens.

Jo has a background in restaurant management and facilities, therefore understands the urgency required when your equipment is not working correctly, plus she is probably one of the most organised people you will ever meet!

 In December 2020, we contacted Matthews House, to ask if we could help in any way.

Since then, we have been servicing the commercial kitchen & repairing the catering appliances at Matt’s Café.

This amazing local project is providing hospitality & hope in the heart of Swansea.
